  • Offer a balanced diet-that includes plenty of fruits, veggies and lean proteins-Remember to always provide age appropriate foods to your child.

  • Increasing activity level-Family fun activities include jumping rope, playing tag, riding a bike, walking, and dancing.

  • Reducing Screen-time-children ages 2-5 have 1 hour of screen time or less per day

  • pay attention to my  child's verbal and nonverbal communication and learn the best ways to respond

  • provide my child with books, toys and activities that match his or her developmental level
